With the recent announcement that HBO Max is developing a new Wizarding World series. A fan-favorite plot theory is a prequel following the story of Harry’s (Daniel Radcliffe) parents. The Marauders and the original Order of the Phoenix. This can work very well because there are so many storylines and relationships to explore during the First Wizarding War. A show focusing on the original Order of the Phoenix. Is Harry Potter’s best television future (Ralph Fiennes).
Aside from Dumbledore, the original Order of the Phoenix included, among others. James and Lily Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and Frank and Alice Longbottom. Aurors from the Ministry of Charm also joined the Order to take part in more secretive. Sudden assaults aimed at crushing Voldemort’s increasingly dangerous Dark Rebellion.
Voldemort was ostensibly defeated by baby Harry in 1981, as Sybil Trelawney predicted. “The one with the power to overcome the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies.”
A spinoff series focusing on the original Order of the Phoenix would not only connect with well-established fan favorites. But would also expand on many complex stories and relationships in the Harry Potter universe. The beginnings of the Death Eaters. As well as Dumbledore’s relationship with Voldemort (having witnessed Tom’s sinister transformation). As a group of troublemakers, becomes the most powerful resistance force against Voldemort. So the show would most likely build towards Voldemort’s first defeat in 1981, Peter’s horrifying betrayal can work as the series’ climax.
Aside from potential storylines, an original Order of the Phoenix show could focus on relationships such as James and Lily Potter and Lily and Severus Snape. Explaining Snape’s undying love for Harry’s mother as well as his hatred for James (who was not only Lily’s love interest but also Snape’s bully at school). The 1970s was the decade in which Harry’s parents and peers became adults. Exploring their growth (in the context of Voldemort’s threat) would be an excellent parallel to the Harry Potter series.
An original Order of the Phoenix series would also offer viewers a period piece. Putting the familiar characters in a nostalgic setting. What the Fantastic Beasts series is doing now can be improved by a series filled with fan favorites. Like Sirius, Lupin, and Snape. In a prequel, the Harry Potter series centered on the First Order of the Phoenix. Stories of love, friendship, family, and betrayal can all fit together perfectly.
