The mercury is rising in New York City, and Jessica Alba was certainly heating things up on Wednesday. The 35-year-old showed off her incredible figure in a sheer blue dress embellished with floral motifs, which she wore over a white skirt slip and crop top

Jessica’s summery layered frock was nipped in at her tiny waist with a black belt, and she teamed it with suede midnight blue wedged sandals. The actress revealed her long and slender legs as she crossed a busy street, with an oversized silver envelope clutch tucked under her arm.

Jessica was flashing a metallic temporary tattoo on her arm, and also wore a large pair of cat-eye sunglasses. The Sin City star styled her honey-coloured hair in sexy bedhead waves and finished off her look with natural make-up.

Jessica usually resides in Los Angeles, but has been in the Big Apple this week to promote her Honest Company’s new hair care range. The mother-of-two co-founded the company, which sells non-toxic household products, in 2012, and last August it was valued at $1.7billion.

Jessica and husband of eight years Cash Warren celebrated their eldest daughter Honor’s eighth birthday last week. They are also parents to four-year-old daughter Haven. The Fantastic Four star, who is said to be worth $340million, has just made Forbes’ list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women.

Jessica is also keeping busy in the acting world, and can next be seen in Dear Eleanor. The film follows two teenage girls who travel across the US in 1962 during the Cuban missile crisis, in search of Eleanor Roosevelt. Jessica is also appearing opposite Jason Statham and Tommy Lee Jones in crime thriller Mechanic.
