Elegant Jessica Alba goes daring in cutaway gown

Jessica Alba shrugged off jet lag as she stepped out in a stunning cutaway gown after flitting from London to China. The Fantastic Four beauty had been in the British capital for the Glamour Awards, before globetrotting to Bejing for the Montblanc international gala.

Taking to the red carpet in an elegant cream dress, Jessica was the belle of the ball with her hair whipped up to show off a pair of Chanel earrings. She also added a splash of colour by painting her toe nails blood red. As the mother-of-two tottered along on crisscross strapped heels, she posed with her hand on her hip while holding a clutch in the other. The event was held to honour the official opening of the brand’s biggest concept store in the world at the Montblanc Sanlitun Concept Store.

Jessica recently revealed to Marie Claire that she felt like she was ‘objectified’ when she first launched her career in showbiz. At just 19-years-old, she was portrayed as a ‘tough action girl’ during her reign on the Fox network in Dark Angel, yet it left her empty and striving to be ‘chic and elegant’ instead.

Her choice of outfit at the JW Marriott Hotel launch function managed to be slick, yet ultra glamorous too. And despite appearing to have spent weeks gearing up for the big night at the gym – Jessica revealed she has only just resumed working out.

The 31-year-old tweeted, ‘First workout in months’, before posting a snapshot of herself looking a little daunted by the exercise equipment. Jessica, who was honoured with the Glamour Magazine Entrepreneur Award this week, juggles motherhood with her career and business.

She is the proud mother of three-year-old Honor and Haven, eight months. The Sin City star also looks after her company Honest – for which she won the award – which promotes natural & eco-friendly baby products. Naomi Watts also attended the event, which reportedly presented the entire ‘Collection Princesse Grace de Monaco’, in a slick black playsuit.
