Jessica Alba flits to the gym for gut-busting workout in pink and grey exercise gear

Jessica Alba recently revealed that she hates working out – but at least it’s a good excuse for her to look cute. The 32-year-old star was toned and pretty in pink as she put in a calorie-burning workout on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Jessica was comfortably clad in pastel track trousers that stopped just below the knee and a grey T-shirt to match.

The ever-thoughtful fashionista added a chic fuchsia bag that hung loosely across her torso, a bright colour that gave her outfit some definite pizzazz. On her feet were off-white slip-on loafers seemingly made from a natural weave that looked cosy and were eco-friendly to boot.

Jessica wore her dark brown hair half down, half up in a tight ponytail on top of her head and tied with a pink band. She might have a company to run, a movie career to navigate and two young daughters to care for, but Jessica always makes time for her daily workout.

Jessica, who frequently ascends to Maxim’s Hot 100 and The 99 Most Desirable Women, is just like anybody else when it comes to exercise – she doesn’t like it. ‘I have a brutally short attention span. It means I’m useless at working out,’ Jessica tells the issue of Women’s Health UK.

‘I get so bored. I have cellulite and stretch marks — and I have a muffin top!’ In 2011, the Sin City star told Lucky magazine: ‘In the gym, I have like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. [Workout] partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out.’

Modest as she is, Jessica has been able to maintain the perfect proportions that she had when she starred in 2005’s Into The Blue, in which her chief wardrobe consisted of a skimpy bikni.

Jessica also has her children, Haven, five, and Haven, two, to thank for her amazing physique. ‘I’m running around (and) that always keeps you on your toes,’ Jessica told InStyle.
