Jessica Alba is radiant as she opts for glowing make-up and an elegant black dress

She has scooped the lead role in upcoming TV drama L.A.’s Finest. So Jessica Alba was naturally keen to impress as she attended a photo call in LA on Wednesday, for the show, which is a spin-off of the Bad Boys movie franchise. The 37-year-old Sin City stunner, who plays Nancy McKenna opposite Gabrielle Union’s character Sydney Burnett, opted for simple glamour as she sported a flirty black dress with a dewy make-up look.

Jessica looked sensational as she sported the slinky black dress which was shaped in a summer silhouette yet given an edgy feel with the dark colouring. She showed off her glowing complexion from beneath her dewy natural make-up while wearing her hair in a gentle teased plait.

jessica is delightedly preparing for the launch of the show, the synopsis of which is described as: ‘Burnett, who last was seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel. She now has left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective… ‘Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna, a working mom with an equally complex past, Burnett is pushed to examine whether her unapologetic lifestyle might be masking a greater personal secret…

‘These two women don’t agree on much, but they find common ground when it comes to taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles.’ Jessica raises her three children Honor, 10, and Haven, seven, as well as her one-year-old son Hayes with her husband Cash Warren.

The couple first crossed paths while filming the Fantastic Four in 2004 and they married four years later in Los Angeles in 2008. As both a mother to three children and a Hollywood actress, Jessica admitted juggling her work/life balance has been difficult even with just two children.

So it’s no surprise she gets the help of her eldest daughter Honor to look after her young son Hayes since welcoming the third child to her brood. The mother-of-three stressed she doesn’t let her Haven walk around with her youngest child because she is only seven years old.

She told E! News: ‘I feel like I just didn’t have enough time in the day with two and I still feel that way, but I feel like we giggle a lot more. ‘Haven I don’t trust walking with him around ‘cause she is 7, but Honor can throw him on her hip and like walk around and, like do things.

‘The kids are really into him and it’s teaching them how to nurture in a way and take care of a little person. They realize that he needs so much.’
