Megan Fox keeps the Barbiecore trend alive in this season’s must-have accessory

Intermittent Instagram poster Megan Fox has never been one for understated – and we love her all the more for it. Whenever the actress indulges her 20.7m Instagram followers, sharing a new, seriously glamorous, insight into her wardrobe game, we can’t help but pay attention.

Megan’s eclectic sense of style, perhaps best described as ‘Y2K-sultry-meets-high-octane-glam’, caught our eye recently as the 36-year-old cemented her penchant for a fluffy bucket hat. In fact, eagled-eyed Megan fans will have spotted that the playful style has made up a major part of her accessory repertoire this year.

A quick scroll through the Jennifer’s Body star’s Instagram grid proves that she is something of a fluffy bucket pioneer, having hopped on the hat trend right at the start of 2022 with a camouflage-inspired piece that accompanied her on a trip to Lake Como. Burgundy and deep purple are a couple of other shades that she has rocked this year, but it’s fair to say that her latest version was a cut above the rest.

In a post shared on Instagram, the Transformers actress proved that the TikTok-adored Barbiecore trend is going absolutely nowhere. Megan was serving 2000s It-girl in a fuchsia-coloured fluffy bucket which added a vibrant splash of pink to her sculpted halter dress. Look out, Margot Robbie.

It’s official – compromising on warmth in the name of fashion is no longer necessary, and now we are in the market for a bucket that would make even the most committed of dopamine dressers wild with envy.

Speaking of wild with envy, Megan took her bucket hat style moment as the perfect opportunity to tease fans, inviting them to apply to become her next romantic partner. “Currently seeking a girlfriend. Please submit applications in the DMs,” the star jokingly captioned her post. “I don’t think you have the filing capacity for this request,” her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly playfully quipped.
